I'D like to start with A spiritual introduction, as that TRULY is how I see myself and others. I am an eternal, indestructible being of pure spiritual energy, whose natural nature is limitless silence, love, peace, purity and power. As are you!
but in this physical form, my name is Jillian.
AT AGE 17, IN MY NATIVE New Zealand; I began a life long love affair with meditation, spiritual philosophy and PERSONAL development
This love took me around the world, and into the heart of the brahma kumaris world spiritual university where I dedicated more than 20 years. Most of that time was spent in the UK, turkey and India and the Middle East.
It brought me into a family of great yogis and teachers who became my friends and mentors
It also brought me the skills and confidence to have a 20 plus year career as a personal development and soft skills trainer and coach, teaching all over the world
However, by age 40, for all my supposed spiritual qualifications, I felt lost. In the words of Bono, ‘I still hadn’t found what I was looking for’.
I expanded my search, for the 'missing pieces', which lead me to new teachers, new perspectives as well as new adventures and experiences.
But by 50, I felt like I was back to square one.
with a beginners minds - I rediscovered the essence of what I had been studying all along.
The thing I secretly avoided the most, even as a ‘meditator’ became everything.
The DEEPEST purpose of The Department of Silence is to BECOME MASTERS OF THE POWER SILENCE; TO USE IT WHEN, WHERE, AND HOW WE WANT. ITS NOT A QUICK FIX, BUT A SUBTLE AND TRANFORMATIVE EXPLORATION OF OUR TRUE NATURE AND THE NATURE OF REALITY.
